I was captured by your heart, by your smile, by your eyes.
And in you I thought I had found a friend.
But then you took all my hope away and I was left feeling dismayed by you lack of love.
Being forced to look only instead at your mask of uncertainty.
And I clung hopelessly to the rope of you hidden love -
Only to find myself dangled above the pit of your confused state of mind.
